Guess what?: Fachri Albar on parenthood

A

ctor Fachri Albar spends most of his time with wife Renata Kusmanto, sharing the responsibility of looking after their two children.

The couple, married in 2014, is focusing on the growth and development of 6-month old daughter Clover Satin and 2-year-old son River Syech.

“I arrange my daily work schedule so I’m able to spend time with my children,” said Fachri as reported by tribunnews.com on Friday.

Renata, a fashion model, took a break from her career to focus on her children.

“I miss my job, of course, but I want to wait until my kids are at an age where I can leave them to go to work.”

Fachri, the son of legendary rocker Achmad Albar, said parenthood had brought him closer to his wife. “We do everything together. I never asked her to stop working, but I did remind her that since we’re parents now, we should focus on our children, so we should be selective in accepting work, if possible.”

Fatherhood, according to Fachri, didn’t change him much. “I feel like the same old me, but with new life companions.”
