Guess what?: Tora Sudiro puts child’s tuition before filmmaking

C

hildren are everything for actor Tora Sudiro. The actor, who rose to prominence after appearing in the TV show Extravaganza, is holding off on making his own movies as he needs to pay for his first child’s college tuition.

The 43-year-old said creating a movie cost a lot.

“I want to save money for my child who wants to go to college,” he told kompas.com recently.

Tora said sending his daughter, Azzahra Nabila Sudiro, to university would require a lot of money because she wanted to study abroad.

The father of three has tried to convince his daughter to study in Indonesia instead.

“For me, I also don’t want my daughter to live far away from me,” he said.

Azzahra is one of Tora’s two daughters from his first marriage to Anggraini Kadiman. Tora later married actress Mieke Amalia and the couple have one daughter together.
