ublicly listed tour and travel company PT Bayu Buana is targeting to rake in Rp 1.8 trillion (US$ 134,83 million) in revenue this year, 61.1 percent of which or Rp 1.1 trillion is expected to come from air ticket transactions.
The fees from about 35,000 outbound travelers are likely to contribute Rp 350 billion to Rp 400 billion to this year’s total revenue, Bayu Buana president director Agustinus Pake Seko told reporters on Tuesday.
The remaining revenue is expected from services in domestic traveling, hotel reservations and other activities, he added.
To promote its services, the company is holding a travel fair at the Atrium of Puri Indah Mall in West Jakarta on March 10-12, he said.
