wo Indonesian pairs, three-time winner Tontowi Ahmad and Liliyana Natsir in the mixed doubles as well as Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo and Marcus Fernaldi Gideon in the men's doubles, have reached the All England badminton open quarterfinals.
The mixed duo, second seed here, beat non-seeded pair Mark Lamsfuss and Isabel Herttrich of Germany, 21-12 and 21-13 in the Birmingham battle on Thursday.

"We're optimistic about Friday's match," she added.
Meanwhile, Kevin and Marcus outclassed non-seeded pair Peter Briggs and Tom Wolfenden of England in a straight match of 21-13, 21-14 early morning Friday, Jakarta time.
