Body of robbery victim taken to police hospital in East Jakarta

he body of Davidson Tantono, 31, who was robbed and shot dead at a gas station on Jl. Daan Mogot, West Jakarta, on Friday, will be taken to the National Police Hospital in Kramatjati, East Jakarta.
"The victim’s body will be transferred to the National Police Hospital in Kramatjati, East Jakarta, to undergo further examination," Cengkareng Police chief Comr. Eka Baasith told reporters on Friday.
The two perpetrators fled the scene with a bag carrying Rp 350 million (US$26,319.7). It was reported that the victim had just withdrawn the cash from a bank in Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta, before driving to a gas station in Cengkareng.
Davidson reportedly struggled to get the bag back before one of the suspects shot him in the head and rode away on a motorbike. The victim died instantly.
The suspects reportedly wore white shirts and jeans.
Police are examining the crime scene and questioning witnesses to track down the suspects, Eka said. (fac)
