Actor Miller Khan is on a mission — to lose weight
ctor Miller Khan is on a mission — to lose weight. The 30-year-old Malaysian actor said he has gained 8 kilograms, and it’s not for an upcoming role.
“I plan to lose weight, I’ve been eating a lot. I just love food. I’ve gained 8 kg already,” he was quoted as saying by kompas.com.
Part of his plan to lose weight is exercise. “There is not too much scheduled for next week, so I can focus on exercise,” he said in Jakarta.
The actor, who has starred in many Indonesian sinetron (soap operas), from Azizah to Surga yang ke-2 (The Second Heaven), said he preferred to star in films.
Therefore, he is taking a break from sinetron to focus on films. The last time he starred in a sinetron was last year. For this year, he has picked roles in films, including his latest film, Petak Umpet Minako (Minako’s Hide and Seek).
“I did start with film, anyway. Starring in a film brings a certain satisfaction; the acting is much more detailed and serious. I enjoy acting in films,” said Miller, who is taking a martial arts course in the hope of getting a role in an action film — and perhaps to lose an extra kilogram or two.
