President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo is scheduled to travel by train from Bogor station, West Java, to Rangkasbitung Station in Banten on Wednesday to commemorate the 72nd anniversary of state-owned railway company Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI).

“Bapak president will travel to Rangkasbitung by train from Bogor at 7 a.m. The trip will be around 3 to 3.5 hours long,” said Transportation Minister Budi Karya Sumadi on Tuesday, as quoted by wartakota.com.
He added that the trip aimed to celebrate KAI's anniversary, which falls on Sept.28.
During KAI's anniversary day, Jokowi traveled by the commuter line from Cikini Station to Juanda Station in Central Jakarta. The picture of him on the train was uploaded to his Facebook page.
He was captured standing up and talking to the train passengers. (wnd)
