The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN Indonesia), in cooperation with Reed Panorama Exhibitions (RPE), will organize an international exhibition and conference called the Indonesia Transport, Logistics & Maritime Week 2017 (ITLMW 2017) from Oct. 10 to 12 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
President Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo is scheduled to open the expo on Oct. 10.
Reed Panorama Exhibitions general manager James Boey, KADIN Indonesia vice chairman for transportation Carmelita Hartoto, Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati, Transportation Minister Budi Karya Sumadi, Coordinating Economic Affairs Minister Darmin Nasution as well as Coordinating Maritime Affairs Minister Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan are also slated to present at the opening ceremony.
ITLMW 2017 seeks to attract more than 15,000 visitors, from Indonesia and overseas.
The expo will serve as a platform for maximum information exchange among different business players, helping them explore opportunities to set up an integrated transportation, logistics and maritime businesses.
Scholars, regulators, students and representatives from the government relevant to all three sectors will also take part in the upcoming expo to exchange their views.
The whole expo comprises seven different exhibitions to highlight specific sectors: Indonesia Transportation, Supply Chain & Logistics 2018; Intra-Logistics Indonesia; Warehousing Indonesia; Indonesia Trucks & Commercial Vehicles; Indonesia Maritime Expo; Jakarta International Logistics Summit & Expo and the Indonesia Logistics Solution Day.
