woman who reportedly jumped to her death from the fifth floor of Blok M Square mall in South Jakarta on Monday evening, has been identified as a Philippine citizen.
“We suspect that it was a suicide, but we’re still investigating the incident,” Kebayoran Baru Police chief Adj. Sr. Comr. Teguh Wibowo said on Monday as quoted by kompas.com.
The victim’s identity card was found inside a bag left near a snack kiosk on the fifth floor.
The kiosk owner told the police that the woman had walked back and forth aimlessly in front of the store before jumping.
Her body was taken to Fatmawati Hospital in South Jakarta for further examination.
