Artotel in Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Surabaya and Bali is turning off its electricity for two hours come the evening of March 24.
This activity, held to celebrate Earth Hour 2018, which falls on the aforementioned date, is called “60+60: Let Thomas Rest Longer”, which refers to Thomas Edison, the inventor of the light bulb. For two hours, from 8.30 to 10.30 p.m., all lights will be turned off in public areas, and guests will be invited to participate in glow-in-the-dark painting activities led by Artotel’s in-house creative team.
Each Artotel will also be providing different food and beverage promos for this occasion, such as a 60 percent discount on RoCA restaurant’s main course menu at Artotel Thamrin Jakarta and 50 percent off any kind of menu at RoCA at Arototel Surabaya, excluding alcohol and cigarettes.
