hmad Dhani’s youngest son Abdul “Dul” Qodir Jaelani is set to release two singles this year, which he says sound more like 1990s pop music.
The 17-year-old explained that he had been going in and out of the studio during and prior to the Ramadhan season.
“I’m making two songs; one of them is finished, and then I’m working on one more. After Idul Fitri, it will be released, God willing. It’ll sound like the alterative pop of the 1990s, because I am not an anak zaman now,” he said as quoted by kompas.com, referring to the self-righteous catchphrase used by baby boomers to simplify the state of the younger generation today.
Dul already has a musical history, partly because of his association with his superstar father, who has built a legendary career in Indonesian rock music.
Dul is known also for a horrific car crash he was involved in when he was a minor in 2013, which resulted in the deaths of six people.
