OPCON Asia 2018 confirmed that actor Wil Traval of Marvel’s Jessica Jones fame will attend the pop culture festival in September.

The Netflix original chronicles the life of Jessica Jones, one of the darker Marvel characters, who, after a tragedy put an end to her superhero career, settles in New York City and opens her own detective agency.

“POPCON Asia commits to providing a new experience for pop culture lovers in Indonesia by bringing in the best pop stars at every event,” said Yenny Wangsawidjaja, CEO POPCON Inc. in a press release.

The event, now in its seventh year, will also bring in Malaysian artist and illustrator Kael Ngu, who is renowned for his cover work for DC Comics’ Justice League and IDW Publishing’s GI Joe; Mico Suayan of the Philippines, who works on the Thor and Bloodshot Reborn comics; and Ronny Gani, who is involved in Hollywood superhero movies like Avengers: Age of Ultron and Avengers: Infinity War.

The event, scheduled to be held on Sept. 22 and 23 at at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD in Tangerang, will also bring in Balinese illustrator Monez Gusmang.
