Musician and producer Yovie Widianto says he will leave the band he founded, Yovie & Nuno, after their concert next month.
The concert is part of the Love Festival Vol. 3 Love is Live event at the Jakarta Convention Center. Yovie & Nuno is one of nine bands, including GIGI and Nidji, that will perform during the event.
“The Love Festival event will be my last time sharing the stage with Yovie & Nuno,” Yovie said as quoted by kapanlagi.com during a recent press conference at the CGV Blitz Grand Indonesia in central Jakarta.
Yovie, born in Bandung, West Java, on Jan. 21, 1968, is one of Indonesia’s most prominent musicians, having been a member of the band Kahitna in the 1990s. In 2001, Yovie founded Yovie & Nuno as a side project to feature is own style of music.
