igital payment platform OVO has teamed up with mutual fund marketplace Bareksa and online payment provider Do-It and Taralite to expand the market for its financial products.
“The partnership is part of OVO’s commitment to offer financial services,” said OVO CEO Jason Thompson in a statement on Tuesday.
Under the agreement, users can access mutual fund investment directly through the OVO app.
Bareksa CEO Karaniya Dharmasaputra said the partnership with OVO would see the expansion of investment product coverage and improve people’s financial literacy.
“Our main objective is to improve financial literacy, particularly to improve people’s awareness about the importance of investment,” Karaniya said as quoted by Antara.
Do-It general manager Jennifer Claudia said the partnership with OVO was part of an effort to provide better services in accessing financial products.
Meanwhile, through the cooperation with Taralite, OVOPayLater appears on Tokopedia, which is integrated with the marketplace platform. (bbn)
