Dewi owns a cake shop called Wingkorolls in Semarang that sells wingko babat (coconut pancake) placed inside roll cakes.
inger Dewi Sandra was among the 20 Indonesian celebrities invited by the Tourism Ministry to become Wonderful Indonesia tourism brand promotion partners via a co-branding deal.
Dewi owns a cake shop called Wingkorolls in Semarang that sells wingko babat (coconut pancake) placed inside roll cakes and available in various toppings such as peanut doughnut, green tea cornflakes, hazelnut crispy, cheese and chocolate.
The partnership deal between Dewi and the Ministry means that the Wonderful Indonesia brand will be placed on the packaging of Dewi’s wingko babat products.
“I’m happy that I get to work together with the Tourism Ministry, considering that I’m still a newcomer compared to other [celebrities who own food brands],” told Dewi.
Dewi said that both her cake products and Wonderful Indonesia have the same mission of promoting tourism in Indonesia especially Indonesian cuisines.
“Thank you Tourism Ministry and the Creative Economy, Minister Dr.Ir. Arief Yahya M.Sc for the invitation today. Hopefully we, the cake sellers, with our own specialty, city and flavor can synergize well with Wonderful Indonesia,” she captioned one of her Instagram photos. (asw)
