As the hospital occupancy rate for COVID-19 patients rises and burial space grows scarce, the Jakarta administration has decided to return to full large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) on Monday, Sept. 14, 2020. Six months after the country’s first confirmed COVID-19 cases were announced, the number of daily new cases continues on an upward trend with no end to the outbreak in sight.
