The Health Ministry announced 4,002 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, bringing the total number of infections nationwide to 282,724.

According to data released by the ministry on Tuesday, 128 more people have died of the disease, bringing the death toll to 10,601.

The total number of recovered patients has also increased to 210,437.

The ministry added 27,891 people were tested on Tuesday, bringing the total number of people tested to 1,962,754.

The capital city recorded 1,238 new confirmed cases, bringing the total tally to 72,577. Meanwhile, West Java reported 316 new cases, East Java 276, Central Java 275, West Sumatra 254 and Riau 236.  

The virus has spread to all of the country's 34 provinces. (kmt)
