Unfortunately, based on recent data from BPS, they only spend an average of 4.6 years at school, far less the government’s requirement of nine years.
With an education program funded by the Australian government, teachers, parents and government authorities are looking for new ways to improve education for disabled students in Indonesia. Pilot projects have launched in several provinces.
Students seeking scholarships to study overseas usually need a good command of English. To acquire the necessary language skills, students can seek to enroll in classes under the English Language Training Assistance (ELTA) program, which also caters to disabled students.
