ast moving consumer goods company Enesis Group has lent its support to the 20th National Games (PON), set to be held from Oct. 2 to 15 in Papua.

In a virtual news conference on Thursday, Enesis Group Head of Public Relations Elkana Lewerisa said the company was committed to providing the country with health and wellness support through collaborative efforts.

“With the National Games, we saw the need to support athletes, officials and the general public to ensure the event’s success, especially as it is being held during the pandemic. As one of the government’s private sector partners, we provide products that can support the health protocols put in place,” she said.

As one of PON’s official sponsors, Enesis Group will supply the competing 7,039 athletes with products that with support their daily activities and trainings, including the food-grade Antis hand sanitizer, Soffell mosquito repellent, Amunizer herbal vitamins, Plossa eucalyptus oil, as well as the drinks Coolant and Adem Sari.

Not only for athletes, Enesis Group will also hand out these products free of charge to sports fans coming to watch the competitions, with Enesis Group booths available at key locations including Lukas Enembe Stadium, Mako Brimob Koya Yoso Volleyball Field, GOR Waringin Kotaraja, Mandala Jayapura Stadium and the Mahacandra Field at Cendrawasih University.

On behalf of the organizers, the 20th PON revenue coordinator Vera Parinussa, expressed her appreciation for Enesis Group’s support, especially with the increased need for strict health protocols.

“The distribution of Enesis Group products, which can be immediately used by athletes, will be very beneficial for everyone involved in the next 14 days,” she said, adding that the products would be distributed directly to the arriving contingents.

According to Elkana, the products were carefully considered for their health benefits. For example, the Soffell mosquito repellent could prevent mosquito bites that could cause dengue fever or malaria, while the Antis hand sanitizer was clinically proven to kill 99 percent of bacteria and viruses in four seconds.

“With these products, we hope they can serve as a reminder to follow the health protocols such as washing hands regularly, as these same hands will go on to accomplish incredible achievements in their respective sports.”

“With Enesis Group’s support for the 20th National Games, we hope that people will be more aware of the health protocols, and take better care of their health by using Enesis Group products,” Vera concluded.
