MODENA Inks deal with Vietnamese Synnex FPT

G

lobal Consumer Electronics Brand, Modena has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Synnex FPT, marking the beginning of a robust business cooperation aimed at introducing the renowned brand to the Vietnamese market.

Synnex FPT, under FPT Corporation, is renowned for its strong distribution network and technological expertise in Vietnam. The country itself has a fast-growing market, supported by a stable economy and significant middle-class growth, making it desirable for worldwide brands to enter.

The signing marks a strategic step taken by MODENA to support the Indonesian government's efforts to strengthen collaboration and trade balance between Indonesia and Vietnam, in response to the joint vision of the two states to become high-income countries by 2045.

It is also a realization of more bilateral cooperation between the two, following President Joko Widodo’s desire to see more collaboration in the business sector. He previously expressed this wish during a business dialogue amid his visit to Vietnam on Jan. 13.

It is hoped that by entering the Vietnamese market, Modena is able to contribute to economic growth between Indonesia and Vietnam, strengthening sustainable bilateral relations.

“This expansion is not just about business, but also about building a mutually beneficial and sustainable relationship between two friendly countries. We are optimistic that this step will become a solid foundation for forming a long-term partnership between Modena in Vietnam in creating positive synergies in the business world," said Sung Yong Hong, Chief Operating Officer of Modena.
