n recent years, various technology companies have experienced rapid growth globally, including in Indonesia. However, this has also led to a surge in job layoffs in the country.

Amid this situation, Aspire recently inaugurated its new headquarters in Singapore and plans to double its workforce by 2025. Aspire has also opened offices in Hong Kong and is recruiting workers for various departments.

In Indonesia itself, Aspire continues to expand by hiring employees for various key positions, from marketing divisions to customer service. Aspire's strategic expansion in Indonesia is a crucial part of its mission to maximize the potential of the Asian market.

"Despite global challenges, Aspire continues to grow steadily in Asia. Currently, Aspire is focused on finding the best talent in their respective fields, as we believe the team is our greatest asset and key to our success," said Ferdy Nandes, general manager of Aspire Indonesia.

Last year Aspire received an investment of US$100 million in an oversubscribed Series C funding round and announced profitability within less than three months after the funding. The company was also recognized as one of the 10 Fastest Growing Companies by The Straits Times in Singapore, with revenue growth of over 100 percent in 2023.

Contrary to the downsizing and return-to-office trends implemented by start-ups in Indonesia, Aspire is focused on expanding its team. The implementation of flexible work policies, where each team can choose their offline collaboration days, and unlimited leave benefits demonstrate its commitment to work-life balance, which appeals to the current generation in attracting quality talent in the country.
