Alila Villas Uluwatu offers Gift to Share

A

lila Villas Uluwatu, a luxury cliffside resort on Bali, is gearing up to welcome guests with its new “Gift to Share” offer following the government’s recent announcement to reopen the borders of the island province.

The resort believes there is always hope for a better future in a world enhanced by regenerative tourism and reunited by #travelwithpurpose.

With global travelers becoming more mindful in embracing local cultures, local foods and the needs of local communities and economies, Hemal Jain, the general manager of Alila Villas Uluwatu, sees a big future for #travelwithpurpose and how the resort can take a leading role.

“As travelers seek more authenticity, for a luxury hotel like us where we really practice local culture, sustainability and a keen sense of community care, I definitely believe that our ‘Gift to Share’ message reflects what the next-generation traveler wants,” he said.

“It really reflects our hope for future travel: fantastic times ahead and a beautiful embracing of localization in everything we do."

In the spirit of giving back, the hotel said, guests would enjoy a gift of one complimentary night for every two nights booked at Alila Villas Uluwatu.

In turn, guests may choose to share their “gift” by donating any amount of their choice in place of the complimentary room charge, which will go toward supporting two local foundations: R.O.L.E. Foundation, the resort’s nonprofit partner working to break the poverty cycle by empowering women with skills training and business education, and Bali Life Foundation, which provides housing, education and health care to orphaned, abandoned and rejected Balines children from the ages of 5 to 15 years.

This offer is available immediately and runs through March 23, 2023, excluding peak seasons. Free cancellation is offered until 24 hours prior to the arrival date.
