alaysian songstress, Sheila Majid, is set to rock Bandung as “Precious Moment with Sheila Majid” hits the Grand Ballroom Intercontinental Bandung Dago Pakar on Aug. 27.
“To survive in the music industry for three decades is not easy. I am very thankful and happy to still be able to create and be appreciated by my Indonesian fans,” Sheila said in a press conference, Thursday, as reported by antaranews.com.
Sheila is set to perform 10 of her hit songs in Bandung, and has promised fans she will give it her all.
“I performed in Bandung back in 1988 and therefore I am glad to be back in the city, because I mostly perform in Jakarta and Bali,” she said.

Bandung Mayor, Ridwan Kamil, said Sheila Majid was one of his favorite singers when he was in junior high. “I like the song Antara Anyer dan Jakarta, my wife also likes the song,” he said.
Concert promoter, Think First! said via their representative, Shifa, that the concert was held to answer Bandung residents’ demand for Sheila Majid’s performance.
“Think First is honored to have the opportunity to bring Sheila Majid to Bandung, Indonesia. After a long and thorough process, we are ready to deliver a memorable and entertaining show for Sheila Majid fans in Bandung,” she said.
