fter testing positive for drug use, singer Reza Artamevia's case will be handled by the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) province and she will undergo rehabilitation.
"The BNN has taken over [the case of] RA and three other [witnesses], [namely] DN, RN and YY, for rehabilitation. She wasn't declared a suspect as we found no [narcotics] on her, despite testing positive for drug use," NTB Police public relations division head AKBP Tribudi Pangastuti said on Thursday in Mataram.
All four were previously questioned by the Mataram Police following their arrest during a raid at the Golden Tulip Hotel. The group was apprehended in a room occupied by newly appointed Indonesian Actors Guild (Parfi) chairman Gatot Brajamusti on Sunday night.
Tribudi said the police had named two suspects in the case so far — Gatot and his wife Dewi Aminah.
"On Thursday afternoon, GB was taken to Jakarta by a team from the National Police headquarters for an investigation concerning other evidence found at his house in Jakarta," said Tribudi, adding that the case would still be processed by the NTB Police as the crime scene was in Mataram. (kes)
