Hong Kong-based tech company Zotac has introduced another backpack PC, called VR Go.
While similar in design to other Virtual Reality (VR) gaming-focused backpack PCs in the market, the VR Go differentiates itself by doubling as a normal desktop PC, as reported dailysocial.id.
To allow for its usage as both a regular PC and a VR gaming device, the VR Go comes with high specifications like an Intel Core i7 processor, an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 MXM graphic card, a pair of SO-DIMM DDR4 memory modules, an M.2 SSD and a WiFi module. Zotac reportedly also used a self-manufactured air-cooling system to cool down the CPU and GPU.

On the bag's exterior, users can find three USB 3.0/3.1 ports, an SD card slot, two HDMI ports, two display ports, two ethernet ports and two 3.5 mm audio jacks. The ports are all on one side of the bag, which is expected to make cable management easier. It also provides a 2.5-inch bay for an external hard drive or SSD. For power supply, the VR Go is equipped with a removable battery that can be unplugged without turning off the device.
Although the VR Go is slated for release this quarter, Zotac has yet to disclose an exact release date and price. (mas/kes)
