These are Indonesia's most-tweeted New Year's resolutions

While “losing weight” and “living healthier” remain the most popular global resolutions, “getting married” tops the list of the 10 most-tweeted New Year’s resolutions in Indonesia.

t's the first week of January and, as per modern-day traditions, New Year's resolutions are still flooding social media. While “losing weight” and “living healthier” remain the most popular global resolutions, “getting married” tops the list of the 10 most-tweeted New Year’s resolutions in Indonesia.

The list is based on keywords used by people posting on Twitter about their forthcoming goals in 2017, starting from Dec. 26, 2016 to Jan. 1.

Aside from getting married, Indonesians also aim to “live healthier” and “be more diligent” in sticking to their New Year's resolutions. Here is the list of Indonesian Twitter users’ top 10 New Year’s resolutions:

  1. Get married
  2. Live healthier
  3. Be more diligent
  4. Be a better person
  5. Be happier
  6. Graduate from college
  7. Get a romantic partner
  8. Get a new job
  9. Quit smoking
  10. Participate in making a more tolerant Indonesia
