‘Game of Thrones’ most pirated TV series once again

he very popular TV series based on George R.R. Martin’s novels, Game of Thrones, has been named the most illegally downloaded series on the internet for five consecutive years by file sharing publication TorrentFreak.
According to its website, the most people sharing an episode across various torrents was 350,000 at its peak, which was when the season finale arrived on the internet.

Another popular series among downloaders has been AMC’s horror drama The Walking Dead and HBO's sci-fi Westworld in second and third position, respectively.
Often labeled as the new Game of Thrones, Westworld takes its audience to a new universe of an old Wild West movie with a twist. Featuring some of Hollywood's biggest names such as Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, James Marsden and Evan Rachel Wood, its first episode has reportedly been watched by at least 3.3 million people. (kes)
