This month, winter is coming for fans of HBO Original production, the award-winning series: Game of Thrones.
The first episode of the seventh season is slated to premiere on July 17. Prior to the premiere, HBO has released trailers, giving a sneak-peek to the “Great War”.
In the trailer, Ser Davos Seaworth (Liam Cunningham) has given a clear warning about the “Great War”, he says, “If we don’t put aside our enmities and bound together, we will die. And then it won’t matter whose skeleton sits on the Iron Throne.”
Those words have certainly piqued fans’ curiosities. One week away before the premiere, HBO teases the fans even further by revealing plots of the first three episodes of the seventh season.

On the press release, HBO reveals that on the first episode, titled “Dragonstone”, Jon Snow (Kit Harington) organizes the defense of the North, while Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) tries to even the odds. Meanwhile, Daenerys Targaryen (Emilie Clarke) finally returns home.
On the second episode, “Stormborn”, Daenerys receives an unexpected visitor, while Jon faces a revolt. Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage), which is considered most favorite character among the Lannisters, plans conquest of Westeros.
Furthermore, the spoiler says that on the third episode titled “The Queen’s Justice”, Daenerys holds court, Cersei returns a gift and Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) learns from his mistakes.
Based on the spoilers, Daenerys, with the help from Tyrion, is predicted to be one step away from the Iron Throne. The chance is high for Daenerys to win the Iron Throne and leads the Seven Kingdoms to fight the White Walkers since she has been declared as the One Who Was Promised by Red Priestess in Volantis.

Then comes the next question: how about Jon? After seeing Jon's resurrection from death, Melisandre (Carice van Houten) is certain that Jon is the One who will lead the people against a darkness. Jon clearly has a similar chance with Daenerys and it would not be a surprise that they will end up together, as predicted by the fans.
The “Great War” is a major event on the show, but let’s not ignore the last sentence on the spoiler. It states clearly that Jamie learns from his mistake. This puts certainty that HBO does not put the sentence innocently; it is a lead to another big event on the show: how Cersei gets killed.
Fans may have read about Maggy the Frog’s prophecy, telling Cersei that she will get killed by her valonqar, which means little brother in High Valyrian language. Reading the spoiler, it is safe to predict that Jamie is most likely to kill his sister/lover this season.
As the plot thickens, it's a little sad upon the realization that the series will come to an end. To lighten up the mood and in anticipation for the first episode, let us humming to Game of Thrones’ theme along with the casts. (asw)
