In celebration of World Emoji Day, Apple revealed plans to roll out new emojis on Monday.
The new emojis, which include “woman with headscarf”, “bearded person” and “breastfeeding”, are expected to be available on iOS, macOS and watchOS later this year, Antara news agency reports. Other examples of the new emojis are food items, such as “sandwich” and “coconut”, as well as fictional characters “T-Rex”, “zebra”, “zombie” and “elf”.

“With thousands of emojis available on iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac, there are many ways to add personality to every message,” Apple stated in its official website.
Aside from that, Apple has also highlighted several emoji-related apps and replaced movie titles with emojis in iTunes movies to further celebrate the day. (mas/kes)
