Anggun beats Selena Gomez on Billboard chart

Anggun's latest single, "What We Remember", has climbed to the number 12 spot on the Billboard's Dance Club Songs weekly music chart since its release in December, beating Selena Gomez's collaboration with Marshmello, "Wolves", which sat at rank 18 on Feb. 3.

nggun's latest single, "What We Remember", has climbed to the number 12 spot on the Billboard's Dance Club Songs weekly music chart since its release in December, beating Selena Gomez's collaboration with Marshmello, "Wolves", which sat at rank 18 on Feb. 3. 

Anggun, an Indonesian-born singer and songwriter, expressed her gratitude in a post uploaded on her Instagram account, as reported by tempo.co.

"Blessed #12 this week! #Billboard #US DanceCharts Thanks to the dance community and the fans in America," Anggun wrote in her post, sharing a screenshot of her chart standing.

Fans praised Anggun's achievement online, with some expressing hopes the singer would attain the top spot on the Billboard chart. 

"So proud of you Anggun!! Indonesia proud of you!!", a fan wrote.

"Waoow, Mbak Anggun deserves to be no. 1. Keep making music Mbak Anggun the best," commented another. (liz/kes)
