Indonesia’s first modification expo to be held in November

T
he first edition of the Indonesia Modification Expo (IMX) is set to be held from Nov. 17-18 at the Balai Kartini convention center in South Jakarta.
Hosted by the National Modificator and Aftermarket Association (NMAA), the event is said to feature three aspects of the modification industry, namely the modificator (workshops), automotive aftermarket brands and brand holder agents (APM), according to kompas.com.

The association’s founder and CEO Andre Mulyadi said in a press release that the event was not solely to exhibit and sell modification products and services, but also to transfer knowledge and technology between exhibitors and visitors.
Andre expressed hope that IMX would be internationally acknowledged and become one of the world’s trendsetters.
Automotive modification is an up-and-coming industry. Prior to IMX, the association is set to showcase the country’s modification industry as part of the Great Indonesia exhibition at the 2018 Osaka Auto Messe in Japan, which is slated to run from Feb. 10-12. (jes/kes)
