The next generation of iPhones is expected to be released in a new variety of colors, such as blue, red and orange.
ater this year, Apple is expected to release its latest generation of iPhones, as it has been doing for nearly a decade. Unlike in previous years, however, the new models might come in a variety of colors.
According to 9to5Mac, Apple’s rumored 6.5-inch OLED iPhone will launch in black, white and gold, while its rumored 6.1-inch LED counterpart will debut in grey, white, blue, red and orange variants.
A strong color statement is nothing new for the iPhone, though. In the past, Apple has released a red iPhone to promote Product (RED), an organization that campaigns to fight HIV and AIDS in Africa.

The company’s 2013 iPhone 5C was also released in a variety of colors, including green, blue, yellow, pink and white variants, thanks to its polycarbonate back. Still, they have yet to release an orange iPhone, and this version may be their first.
Current rumors also suggest that Apple will actually be releasing three new iPhones later this year, including a new “iPhone X Plus”, which is rumored to include a 6.5-inch OLED display, a 6.1-inch LCD iPhone, and a 5.8-inch iPhone X with improved specs. (sul/wng)
