Apple is anticipating large demand for its even larger iPhones premiering later this year.
According to supply reports obtained by Korean news source The Bell, Apple believes its new 6.5-inch models will be its most popular one to date.
The report also states that Apple has ordered 70 million OLED panels for the new models. Forty-five million are dedicated to the larger model, while 25 million are for the 5.8-inch model, the same size as the current iPhone X.

These figures are likely meant for the first quarter of iPhone sales, as Apple typically sells about 75 million iPhones within the first three months of their availability. From there, the company usually re-evaluates production for following quarters.
In addition to these two phones, Apple has said in the past that it was planning to release a more affordable iPhone that will likely feature an LED screen instead of an OLED screen and will size out at 6 inches. (sul/mut)
