ihanna is officially the cover girl for British Vogue‘s September issue. She shared photos from her shoot and fashion editorial, but the clothes weren’t the only thing that caught people’s attention. If you look closely, you’ll see that she’s rocking ultra skinny brows.

Rihanna’s makeup was done by Isamaya Ffrench, who is known for her avant-garde and grungy looks. The brows are reminiscent of Clara Bow’s signature look in the 1920’s where she severely plucked her eyebrows and extended it to the outer corner of her eyes. But for Rihanna, it looks like her brows were glued down and concealed before the new ones were drawn with pencil.

The cover was shot by Nick Knight under the creative direction of Edward Enninful. Rihanna wore an array of garments from Prada to Alexander McQueen, as well as pieces from Savage X Fenty. This drop also comes after reports that Beyoncé took full control of US Vogue‘s creative direction for their September issue. It’s safe to say that black girl magic will be dominating magazine stands.
