Singer Ari Lasso is slated to hold a solo concert at The Pallas in Jakarta on Oct. 3, marking 26 years in the music industry.
inger Ari Lasso is slated to hold a solo concert at The Pallas in Jakarta on Oct. 3. Titled "Mengejar Matahari" (Chasing the Sun), the concert will mark Ari's 26th year in the music industry.
"It's the community of friends from SMAN 2 Surabaya who is making this concert happen. The idea came from them, to inspire to keep the spirit, to never tire of chasing the dream," Ari said during a press conference in Jakarta recently, as quoted by tempo.co.

Ari, who is an alumni of state senior high school SMAN 2 Surabaya, said at least 17 songs would be performed during the two-hour long concert.
In addition to singing solo, Ari Lasso will also welcome a number of guest stars, including former collaboration partner Ita Purnamasari, as well as first-time performances with Indonesian Idol alum Gea Indrawari and Brisia Jodie.
When asked whether he was planning any new projects, Ari said "not yet". (liz)
