Guy Ritchie’s new feature film, Toff Guys, will star Henry Golding, Kate Beckinsale and Matthew McConaughey in the exploration of European “old money” meets the modern marijuana industry.
The Hollywood Reporter said the plot reportedly followed a British drug lord and his empire and a cast of Oklahoma billionaires. Director Ritchie is known for his gritty and hardcore execution in his work, something that is expected to surface in the new film.
Production is said to start in England this fall after Miramax picked up the project at Cannes.
Golding is also signed on for director Paul Feig’s Last Christmas. The star had a breakout summer thanks to Crazy Rich Asians and A Simple Favor by Peig.
Beckinsale, meanwhile, recently signed on for El Tonto by Charlie Day.
McConaughey can be seen next in Beach Bum by Harmony Korine, best known for writing Kids ( 1995 ). (acr/wng)
