A single by Indonesian singer Agnez Mo and American singer Chris Brown, “Overdose”, has reportedly entered two Billboard charts, namely the Top 40 Rhythmic Songs and R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay.
The former is an airplay chart published weekly by Billboard magazine, while the latter ranks the top R&B and hip-hop songs in the United States.
Kompas.com reported on Wednesday that “Overdose” was ranked 38th on the Top 40 Rhythmic Songs chart. As a newcomer to the chart, the song surpassed “Girls Like You” by Maroon 5 featuring Cardi B, which sat at number 39.
Meanwhile, on the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart, ”Overdose”, which was previously ranked 43rd, climbed to 36th, beating Mariah Carey’s “With You”, which ranked 38th.
Billboard's chart rankings are based on sales, radio play and online streaming in the United States.
The music video for “Overdose” was released on Sept. 13 and has been viewed 10 million times on YouTube. (jes/wng)
