A month before the running of We The Fest 2019, a mobile one-stop guide application with the same name was launched on Thursday.

The We The Fest 2019 app is designed to help festival goers max their experience by providing features such as artist performance notifications and chat rooms.

"We are inspired by solo travelers from around the world who came to We The Fest and became friends until now," Sarah Deshita, brand manager of Ismaya Live, told a press conference on Thursday.

Sarah said solo festival goers can meet each other through the chatrooms and enjoy the festival together.

Visitors can also mark their favorite musicians in the lineup using the app. Later during the festival, the app would send notifications to the users 15 minutes before the artist performs.

"So if you're still by Stage 1, for example, and the artist is going to perform on Stage 2 in 15 minutes, you won't miss the act," Sarah said.

We The Fest goers can download the app for free via Play Store and App Store.

The festival, which runs from July 19 to 21, has announced its final lineup that includes Rae Sremmund, Troye Sivan, Anne-Marie, Warpaint and Alvvays. (kes)
