INDONESIA: The British Government has asked the Prince of Wales (Prince Charles) to visit Indonesia in November, the British Embassy in Jakarta said.
Prince Charles will visit Indonesia from Nov. 1 to Nov. 5, 2008, the embassy said.
Before coming to Indonesia, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall will visit Japan and Brunei Darussalam.
"The Prince's visit to Indonesia, the world's largest Muslim country, will focus on encouraging greater understanding between faiths, and promoting a sustainable low carbon future and youth employment opportunities," the embassy said in an email sent to The Jakarta Post on Tuesday.
Actually, the embassy received the information from the Clarence House in London.
Charles' last visit to Indonesia was in 1989.
