AMBI, Jambi: Police said they faced too many challenges trying to trace gamblers who made sport using the internet, an already widespread habit in Jambi city.

Jambi City Police chief Snr. Comr. Eko Daniyanto said the police also lacked the surfing skills required as well as access to up-to-date hardware.

"We have no special room for surfing to trace the user names and passwords of the gamblers. The passwords change often. So we haven't been able to track them," Eko said.

He said, however, gambling was still a priority as were other kinds of gambling, such as togel, a kind of lottery. --JP
