AKARTA: Defending champion Senayan Cricket Club will meet WISCI in the semifinals of the 2008-2009 league at the Ceylon Cricket Ground in Cibubur, East Jakarta, on Sunday.

The other semifinal pits Gandhi Memorial International School (GMIS) and Ceylon CC at the Karawaci, according to a release from the Jakarta Cricket Association on Wednesday.

The teams reached the last-four stage after winning their quarterfinal matches over the last few weekends.

Senayan CC trounced Bogor CC by 8 wickets.

GMIS defeated arch rival India XI by a comfortable 89 runs. Ceylon CC edged Rebels CC by 4 runs in a nail-biting finish to confirm its berth in the semifinals.

WISCI brushed aside Challengers CC by 3 wickets for its spot.
