NDONESIA: All eight crew members of a Lion Air flight who had been treated at Wahidin Sudirohusodo Hospital in Makassar, South Sulawesi, after reportedly showing flu-like symptoms similar to the H1N1 flu virus, tested negative on the flu.
Khalid Saleh, the hospital's director, said Saturday that a laboratory test by the the provincial health laboratory at the medical faculty of Hasanuddin University show that the crews were not contracted with the virus.
"We receive the result yesterday. Last night, they have been allowed to leave the hospital," he said.
The crew arrived for a checkup after a passenger from Thailand on a previous flight was quarantined in Papua immediately upon arrival for the virus. They were worried because they were in contact with the passenger.
