AKARTA: State oil and gas company PT Pertamina has established a joint venture called PT Banten Bay Refinery, which will build a fuel refinery in Bojanegara, Banten province.
PT Banten Bay Refinery's establishment certificate was signed on Wednesday, Pertamina said in an emailed statement sent Thursday.
Pertamina will hold a 40 percent stake in the company, Iran's Oil Refining Industries Development Company (ORIDC) will hold 40 percent, and Malaysia's Petrofield 20 percent.
