ABANAN: The 9th King of Tabanan, Ida Cokorda Anglurah Tabanan, and members of noble families held a procession to display the family's royal legacy, including traditional Kris, daggers Tulup Empet, and other ceremonial items, from its noble house at Puri Agung Tabanan to the city's Alit Saputra public park on Sunday.
Adorned in glittering royal costume, the king carried the sacred weapons followed by members of noble families and local villagers.
The royal procession was part of many events held to commemorate Tabanan's 516th anniversary.
"It was such a rare occasion to see beautiful pieces of Kris and jewelry from the king's family," said a resident.
