ANGERANG: The crew of a Cassa 212 plane belonging to the Indonesian Air Force, which skidded off the air strip at its base in Pondok Cabe, Tangerang, were reported to be safe following the incident on Monday morning.
"I don't know how many there were in the plane, but there were no casualties," Pamulang Police chief Adj. Comr. Heru Purnomo said as quoted by kompas.com.
The incident occurred at around 9:15 a.m., when the plane was landing, he said.
"The plane was supposed to land on the asphalt airstrip, but skidded and headed onto a grassy plot," Purnomo said.
