AKARTA: The National Police said Friday there were indications of foreign involvement in alleged terrorism activity in Aceh.
Police spokesman Insp. Gen. Edward Aritonang said the police were still trying to confirm the identity of the foreigner and locate him.
"We cannot confirm his nationality," he was quoted as saying by news portal kompas.com.
Police arrested three terror suspects, Zaki Rahmatullah, Salendra Adipakta, and Yudi Zulfahri, in Kuta Malaka, Aceh, on Monday.
Authorities found documents belonging to a foreigner at the scene.
Aceh Police arrested another two suspects Thursday.
