ENPASAR: The Bali administration announced it would allocate Rp 2.5 billion (US$285,000) to revitalize the Bali Museum, home to the island’s art treasures.
Bali Cultural Agency head Ketut Suastika said the face-lift would be funded through the province’s 2011 budget. “The revitalization program is needed to freshen up both the museum’s interior and exterior,” he said.
The museum’s display rooms will take priority to ensure the museum’s collections are well showcased attractively. — JP
