AKARTA: Rock singer Ari Lasso will perform six of his chart-topping songs in an acoustic-style during the Richard Marx concert on Saturday, at which he will be the opening act.
The six songs will include “Arti Cinta” (The Meaning of Love), “Rahasia Perempuan” (Women’s Secret) and “Hampa” (Empty).
“The concept for the Richard Marx concert is acoustic. I will make adjustments to the songs because I do not have much time as the opening act is only 30 minutes,” he said.
He added that he had intensified rehearsals for the concert, especially since the song arrangement would differ slightly from the original.
“The rehearsals are the most important thing,” he said, as quoted by kapanlagi.com.
He continued that plans for him to sing together with Richard Marx had been scrapped. “I don’t know why but the idea was canceled, although I was ready,” he commented.
