AKARTA: Despite being implicated in a corruption case, model-turned-politician Angelina “Angie” Sondakh believes the show must go on for her new album.

Angie’s music producer, Maia Estianti, said the legislator was proceeding with the album under Maia’s label Le Moesie Revole.

“The project is still on. She just recorded the music,” Maia said as quoted by tempo.co recently.

Even though Angie is new to the business, she has received favorable responses from listeners, demonstrated in the high volume of ringtone sales, Maia said.

The former winner of the Putri Indonesia beauty pageant is involved in the SEA Games bribery case that has embroiled some big names in the Democratic Party.
