AKARTA: Health Minister Endang Rahayu Sedyaningsih is currently being treated at Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM) in Jakarta, the hospital director said.
Akmal Taher told tribunnews.com on Tuesday that he did not know for sure when the minister’s hospitalization began. “One thing for sure, [Endang] is currently resting [at RSCM],” he said. Akmal added that he did not know the cause of the hospitalization.
Endang opened up to the public last year about her fight with cancer. She said the condition would not deter her from carrying out her ministerial duties.
